Oh, and if you’re a video editor that requires a dedicated audio editor to correct your audio content, SFPM3 can now extract audio from a range of video file formats, including XAVC, XDCAM, and AVCHD. This process creates an audio file in M4A format so that you can perform A / B listening tests and modify your master’s style processing to best fit the template. On a similar front, the Tools menu in SFPM3 now includes iTunes auditing options, so you can mimic what your Master audio sounds for iTunes after going through Apple’s encryption process. The Plug-In Chain panel allows you to apply a set of plugins to any free audio file, and SFPM3 seems to be happy to work with a number of third-party plugins as well as its own internal plugins. ![]()
